Vrill: vegan krill oil, and more than just omega-3

ismetsocialbrothers ismetsocialbrothers

Testa Vrill Omega-3 is the vegan replacement for krill oil capsules: the same characteristic properties, but without the krill. And on one point, Vrill even goes further. Here is what is inside and who it is for.

What makes Vrill special

The daily dose of two capsules delivers 280 mg of DHA and 150 mg of EPA from algae oil, enriched with natural phospholipids and astaxanthin. Phospholipids are key building blocks of cell membranes; astaxanthin is an antioxidant that algae produce to protect themselves from sunlight and oxygen. Krill obtain both by eating algae; we take them directly from the source, with an astaxanthin content up to five times higher than krill oil.

What the fatty acids deliver

The authorised claims apply to the omega-3 content: EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function, and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision, each at a daily intake of 250 mg. Vrill’s daily dose of 430 mg DHA and EPA puts you above that threshold.

Who is Vrill for?

Vrill suits anyone who previously used krill oil, or who specifically wants the combination of omega-3, phospholipids and astaxanthin. It is especially popular with seniors; why, you can read in Vrill recommended for seniors. And the ocean benefits too: no krill fishing at the base of the Antarctic food web, as we explain in this article.

FISH-FREE

Honestly said

No health claims are authorised for phospholipids or astaxanthin themselves, and we stick to that. We mention them because they distinguish Vrill from ordinary algae oil, not to promise more than the evidence supports. Trust is earned through transparency.
